To set up a digital oscilloscope, DSO138, you
will need:
• - Kit oscilloscope DSO138;
• - Multimeter;
• - Power supply 8-12 V;
• - Tweezers;
• - Screwdriver for
small-scale works;
• - Soldering iron;
• - Solder and flux;
• - Acetone or gasoline.
The first step is to solder the loop wire
thickness of 0.5 mm in the connector holes the J2. This will be the contact for
the self-test output signal oscilloscope. Board TFT LCD screen is necessary to
solder the 3 pin connector to the bottom of the board. We are almost finished
assembly. But do not rush to remove the soldering iron, and we still need it
for a short while. BTW, you can select the oscilloscope DSO138 kit at Banggood.
Besides, you can easily get other electrical accessories (e.g. 5mm neodymium magnets) there with high quality and reasonable prices.
Now, it is desirable to wash the board with
acetone, gasoline or any other way to clean from the flux residue. After that,
connect the power supply to the board and measure the voltage between the
ground and the point TP22. If the voltage is approximately equal to 3.3 volts,
then you're all well-soldered, congratulations! Now we need to turn off the
power supply and short-circuit solder pins jumper JP4.
Now you can connect to the oscilloscope LCD
display, aligning the pin terminals to pads on the circuit board of the
oscilloscope. Connect the power supply to the oscilloscope. Then, for a few
seconds on the screen manufacturer's logo appears and boot information. Then
the oscilloscope will enter into operation. Connect the probe to the BNC
connector on the oscilloscope and draw the first test. Nowhere without
connecting the black wire probe, touch his hand to the red. The oscillogram
should signal interference from your hand will appear.
Connect the red test probe to the loop
self-test signal and black leave the non-connected. Switch SEN1 put in the
position of "0.1V", SEN2 position "X5", and the CPL - to
position "AC" or "DC". With the clock button SEL to move
the cursor to mark the time, and the "+" and "-" set the
time "0.2ms", as illustrated. In the waveform should be visible
beautiful meander. If the edges of the pulses are rounded or have sharp sharp
peaks on the edges, it is necessary, turning the screwdriver capacitor the C4,
to ensure that the signal pulses become as close to rectangular. Now switch
SEN1 put in the position of "1V", SEN2 - in the position of
"X1". All other settings remain the same. Similar to the previous
point, if the signal is far from the square, it will correct it by adjusting
the capacitor the C6.
This DSO138 oscilloscope setup is complete.
Let's check it in combat. Connect the test leads oscilloscope to a working
electrical circuit and see the signal.
